NOTICE OF FINAL PAYMENT

Pursuant to W.S. § 16-6-116, notice is hereby given that Evanston-Uinta County Airport Joint Powers Board has accepted the work on the Evanston-Uinta County Airport Runway Rehabilitation and Lighting Project, A.I.P. No. 3-56-0036-32-2021, State Project No. AEV003, as substantially completed according to the plans and specifications and rules set forth in the Contract and that Staker Parson Companies is entitled to final settlement therefore.  Upon the 41st day, July 30th, 2023, after the first publication of this notice, that Evanston-Uinta County Airport Joint Powers Board, under whose direction of supervision the work has been carried out will pay to Staker Parson Companies the full amount due under the Contract.  All persons, firms, or corporations who have any claims for work done or materials furnished on said public work are hereby notified that final payment will be made to Staker Parson Companies in accordance with the terms of the Contract on July 30th, 2023.  This section does not relieve Staker Parson Companies and the sureties on his bond from any claims of work or labor done or materials or supplies furnished in the execution of the Contract.

The Uinta County Commissioners met in regular session on June 6, 2023 in the commission chambers, 225 9th Street, Evanston. Chairman Mark Anderson convened meeting at 2:00 p.m. Commissioner Brent Hatch and Commissioner Eric South were present.   Also present:  Terry Brimhall, Treasurer; Lori Perkins, Assessor; Loretta Kallas, Attorney; and Amanda Hutchinson, County Clerk.

Agenda

Motion South, second Hatch to approve the agenda amended to remove the board appointments, and include Amanda Hutchinson with two airport hangar leases, ReaAnna Peltier with an additional item, and Carl Larson with a letter, 3 yes votes, passed.

Jamison Industrial Park Vacation

Motion Hatch, second South to approve Resolution 23-18 authorizing the vacation of Lot 1 Block 1 of the Jamison Industrial Park located in the N1/2 Section 12, T14N, R120W as requested by Kent Williams, Planner.  3 yes votes, passed.

Sage Grouse Core Area Revisions Letter

Motion South, second Hatch authorizing Chairman Anderson to sign a letter to the State of Wyoming regarding the Sage Grouse Core Revisions that may affect the multiple use lands in Uinta County as requested by Carl Larson, Citizens Coalition.  3 yes votes, passed.

Allen Jaggi commented on his frustrations with Federal Government overreach and complemented the commissioners on their willingness to take a stand to protect Uinta County.

Complex Parking Lot

Todd Hurd, Forsgren Associates, updated the commissioners on the progress of the Complex parking lot.  He stated that the project is progressing as planned and may be a bit ahead of schedule even with the delays from the rainy weather.

WHEREAS, default in the payment of principal and interest has occurred under the terms of a promissory note (the “Note”) dated March 19, 2013, executed and delivered by Carol Etta C. NOTICE OF INTENT TO DESTROY SPECIAL EDUCATION RECORDS

The Special Services Department of Uinta County School District Number One will begin destroying all special education records of students by shredding them for those who have gained inactive special education status for seven years by attaining a diploma, receiving a certificate of attendance, a dismissal from special services, or having exited the district before May 2016. Destruction will begin July 12,2023.

Any parent/guardian or student who has reached the age of majority and is otherwise competent, may request a copy of the records in writing prior to July 5,2023.

No action is required by you if ....

  1. You do not wish to obtain these records and 2. You agree with the destruction of records

NOTICE OF ACCEPTANCE OF AND FINAL SETTLEMENT FOR HIGHWAY WORK

Notice is hereby given that the Wyoming Department of Transportation has accepted as completed according to plans, specifications and rules governing the same work performed under that certain contract between the State of Wyoming and Streamline Markings, Inc. The Contractor, on Highway Project Number B213032 in Sweetwater and Uinta Counties, consisting of epoxy striping, and the Contractor is entitled to final settlement therefore; that the Director of the Department of Transportation will cause said Contractor to be paid the full amount due him under said contract on July 27, 2023.

The date of the first publication of this Notice is June 14, 2023.
