PUBLIC NOTICE

Pursuant to the Wyoming Administrative Procedure Act and the Wyoming Public Service Commission’s (Commission) Procedural Rules, the Commission hereby gives notice of the Application of Rocky Mountain Power (RMP or the Company) for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) to construct a new substation adjacent to the existing Deer Creek substation and approximately 100 yards of transmission line southwest of Glenrock, Wyoming (the Project), as more fully described below:

  1. RMP is a division of PacifiCorp, an Oregon corporation, engaged in the business of supplying electric utility service to customers throughout its six-state service territory, including Wyoming under certificates of public convenience and necessity issued by the Commission. RMP is a public utility and subject to the Commission’s jurisdiction. Wyo. Stat. §§37-1-101(a)(vi)(C) and 37-2-112.
  2. On May 14, 2024, the Company filed an Application together with supporting exhibits requesting a CPCN to: [i] construct a new two feeder 69/13.2-kV substation; [ii] construct approximately 100 yards of new transmission lines; [iii] upgrade two supporting poles for transmission lines; and [iv] to install or construct other upgrades, as necessary, to existing switchgear and control equipment.
  3. RMP states the existing Deer Creek substation is at the end of its design life and its replacement is necessary to provide reliable electric service to customers in Glenrock, Wyoming. The Project will be located 800 feet southeast of the I-25 East entrance ramp from Deer Creek Road in Converse County, 2 miles southwest of Glenrock, and approximately 800 meters west of the existing substation. The Project will be entirely on state property and no new rights-of-way are required.
  4. RMP further states the Project will allow the Company to provide cost effective reliable service and the ability to support increasing demand in the town of Glenrock. The Company estimates construction of the Project to begin on or around December 1, 2024, with an estimated completion date in September 2025. The estimated total cost for the Project is approximately $9.2 million. The Company intends to finance the Project through its normal internal and external sources of capital. The Company has not requested any rate change or ratemaking treatment in the context of this Application.

The Uinta County Library-Evanston is requesting proposals for the replacement of the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) in their library. The primary focus of this project is for the successful contractor to remove/dispose of 7 RTU units with the following options: New Carrier RTU’s (or equivalent) with Jace Controlled Economizers (or equivalent), UV Lamps, Co Detectors. Disconnects for the Equipment. Provide Zoning System in less used areas (coordinate with owner). Provide New WIFI Honeywell Digital Thermostat (or equivalent). Inspect/Repair or Replace any damaged Duct work as needed. Replace 60k Reznor Unit Heater (Loading Dock). Add Exhaust Fan for IT Room. Provide/Test and Balance report at the end of project. All work shall be done to local/national codes (SMACNA, IFGC)

WHEREAS, if the foreclosure sale is set aside for any reason, the Purchaser at the sale shall be entitled only to a return of his/her/its money paid.  The Purchaser shall have no further recourse against the Mortgagee, Mortgagor, Servicer or their attorneys;

NOW, THEREFORE AmeriHome Mortgage Company, LLC , as the Mortgagee, will have the Mortgage foreclosed as by law provided by causing the mortgaged property to be sold at public venue by the Sheriff or Deputy Sheriff in and for Uinta County, Wyoming to the highest bidder for cash at 10:00 o’clock in the forenoon on June 26, 2024 at the information desk at the Uinta County Courthouse located at 225 9th Street, Evanston, WY 82930, for application on the above described amounts secured by the Mortgage, said mortgaged property being described as follows, to-wit:

All of Lot 6 in Block 2 of the “M Bar B” Subdivision, being located in the City of Evanston, Uinta County, Wyoming, according to the plat recorded May 16, 1977, as Instrument R304785, in the office of the Uinta County Clerk. 

With an address of 313 Cedar St, Evanston, WY 82930 (the undersigned disclaims liability for any error in the address).

Together with all improvements thereon situate and all fixtures and appurtenances thereto.

Mortgagee shall have the exclusive right to rescind the foreclosure sale during the redemption period.  In the event that the sale is rescinded or vacated for any reason, the successful purchaser shall only be entitled to a refund of their purchase price and/or statutory interest rate.
