Carol Anne Green, 78, of Evanston, passed away Tuesday, June 11, at Rocky Mountain Care in Evanston. Carol was born Nov. 1, 1945, in El Paso, Texas, to William Virgil and Ellen Margaret (McOmie) Green.
She was raised in Laramie, where she graduated from high school. She earned her nursing degree from Walla Walla Community College in Washington and spent many years working as a nurse.
Carol was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting, coloring adult coloring books, embroidery and hiking. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed being a visiting teacher.
She is survived by her son, Robert Huff of Evanston; daughter, Jolene (Brian) Conn of Missoula, Montana; nephews, Phil and David Schilling; and a niece, Kathy Duvall.
Her parents and a sister, Mary Ellen Schilling, preceded her in death.
Memorial services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 24, at Crandall Funeral Home. Visitation was held prior to services, from 10 to 10:45 a.m.
