Joyce Mary Morrow (Sharp) passed away on Saturday, Aug. 10, at Farmington Square Gresham in Portland, Oregon.  Joyce was born on Aug. 5, 1932, in Rock Springs, to Miriam and Jack Sharp.

In November 1953, she married John (Jack) Morrow.  The marriage lasted 64 years, until Jack’s passing in 2017.

Joyce had several jobs with the City of Evanston and with Uinta County. She retired from the senior center after years of work.

Joyce enjoyed cooking and, especially, making and decorating birthday cakes. The picking and canning of cherries each year was one of her passions, as was caring for her yard.

She loved to travel and went on several tours around the country with her husband, Jack. Joyce also loved dancing.  She met Jack at a dance and the rest is history. They really enjoyed and were very good at the jitterbug, in particular.

Before moving to Oregon, she really looked forward to Wine — not whine — Fridays at Jim and Susan Williams’ house as well as the Sunday visits by Sue Dieber. Both were full of great company and treats.

Joyce is survived by her sons: Jeff (Deb) of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Jay (Di) Port of Orford, Oregon; and John (Renee) of Portland, Oregon; brother, John (Sandy) Seppie of Rock Springs; and many nieces and nephews.

Joyce was preceded in death by her mother, Miriam Seppie; stepfather, Harry Seppie; brother, John Sharp; sister, Jan Brown; and sister, Noreen Sharp.

Joyce chose to be cremated, and a celebration of her life will be held at a date to be determined.
