NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER FOR SALE

UINTA-WASATCH-CACHE NATIONAL FOREST

The Nebeker Sale is located within T11N, R5E, Sections 7,8,17-20 Rich and Cache County SLM.  The Forest Service will receive Sealed and Oral bids at Evanston-Mountain View Ranger District before or at the time of public bid opening at 11:00 AM local time on 11/18/2021 followed by oral bidding for an estimated volume of 568 CCF of Subalpine Fir & Other sawtimber, 1336 CCF of DEAD sawtimber, 499 CCF of Engelmann Spruce sawtimber,  and 3391 CCF of Lodgepole Pine sawtimber marked or otherwise designated for cutting. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids.  Interested parties may obtain a prospectus from the office listed below.  A prospectus, bid form, and complete information concerning the timber, the conditions of sale, and submission of bids is available to the public from the Evanston Office, 1565 Highway 150, Suite A, Evanston, WY 82930, (307-789-3194).   USDA is an equal opportunity provider, employer, and lender.

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the State of Wyoming has instituted an action against the above-described property in the District Court of Uinta County, Wyoming, located in Cheyenne, Wyoming, wherein it seeks to forfeit Seven Thousand Sixty-One Dollars ($7,061.00) in United States currency, which was seized on June 20, 2021, because the property was used in violation of the Wyoming Controlled Substances Act.

YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that unless you file an answer or otherwise plead as providd for by the laws of the State of Wyoming, within 30 days after the last day of publication of this notice, your default will be entered and a judgment and decree of Forfeiture will be entered terminating any interest you may have in Seven Thousand Sixty-One Dollars ($7,061.00) in United States currency and forfeiting the property to the State of Wyoming.

EVANSTON CITY COUNCIL

Special Meeting

October 12th, 2021

The official record of proceedings for a special meeting of the Evanston City Council was held in the Council Chambers of City Hall on the above date. These proceedings were video recorded.  

Mayor Williams led those in attendance in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

The roll was called and with a quorum being present, Mayor Kent Williams called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. and welcomed everyone present.

Those present from the governing body at the start of meeting were: Mayor Williams; Council members; Tim Lynch, Tib Ottley, Evan Perkes, David Welling, and Mikal Welling.  Mike Sellers was excused.

Staff members present were:  City Attorney, Dennis Boal; City Clerk, Diane Harris; City Treasurer, Trudy Lym; Police Chief, Mike Vranish; Parks & Recreation Director, Scott Ehlers; and Community Development Director, Rocco O’Neil. Public Works Director, Gordon Robinson and Director of Engineering & Planning, Dean Barker were excused. A group of interested citizens was also present.

Approve Agenda

Council member Welling moved, Council member Lynch seconded, to approve the agenda.  The motion passed unanimously with 6 yes votes: Williams, Lynch, Ottley, Perkes, D. Welling, and M. Welling.

Site Preparation – Avalon Facility

Councilmember Perkes moved, Council member Ottley seconded, to accept the apparent low bid for the Site Preparation and Utility Package for the Avalon International Aluminum Facility.  The motion passed unanimously with 6 yes votes: Williams, Lynch, Ottley, Perkes, D. Welling, M. Welling.

Letter of Support

Councilmember Ottley moved, Council member Welling seconded, to authorize the Mayor to send a Letter of Support to the Wyoming Energy Authority.  The motion passed unanimously with 6 yes votes: Williams, Lynch, Ottley, Perkes, D. Welling, M. Welling

With no further business to be conducted at this time Mayor Williams adjourned the meeting at 5:36 p.m.
