Red Devil senior soccer captain and midfielder Weston Wiley (10) was recently named the athlete of the year for the Southwest District of Wyoming. The designation also makes Wiley one of five male finalists for the Milward Simpson award, which is given to the best male and female athletes in the state. Wiley was the individual champion in the 4A cross-country state championship last fall, leading the Red Devils to their first-ever cross-country state title. (HERALD PHOTO/Mark Madia)
