RANDOLPH — The Rich High School boys’ basketball team placed four players in double figures to claim a 63-52 win on Friday night against West Side (Idaho).
Nick Jarman scored 18 points in the contest as the Rebels improved to 5-3 on the year. Jordan Cook finished with 26 points, including three 3-pointers. Aaron Smith also had three trey to finish with 13 points. Kamran Calder chipped in with 10 points to help lead Rich.
The Rebels jumped out to a 14-8 lead after the first quarter and outscored West Side 14-13 in the second quarter to take a 27-12 advantage into the break.
Rich erupted for 23 points in the third to gain a comfortable lead, but West Side outscored the Rebels 21-13 in the final period.
In the end, it wasn’t enough.
