Lily Barker, a fifth-grade student of Kathy Seale at Uinta Meadows Elementary, was selected as a finalist in the Wyoming Agriculture in the Classroom bookmark contest. There were 11 winners statewide, chosen from more than 1,600 entries. The bookmarks feature artwork pertaining to Wyoming agriculture, natural resources and tourism. Lily and the other students were honored at a banquet held in Cheyenne on June 11. Several dignitaries were present at the awards banquet, including Gov. Mark Gordon. Lily is the daughter of Robby and Laura Barker of Evanston. (COURTESY PHOTO)
