The Evanston Police Department responded to 79 incidents between the dates of Monday, Jan. 16, and Monday, Jan. 23. These included two abandoned vehicles, three assaults, three alarms, six medical assists, 15 animal problems, one trap incident, two agency assists, six citizen disputes, one citizen investigative contact, one case of driving under suspension, one fire, eight information reports, one intoxicated person, one juvenile problem, one case of keeping. The peace, one noise problem, one protection order violation, two prisoner transports, two suspicious incidents, eight traffic accidents, one traffic complaint, one traffic hazard, four thefts, three cases of trespassing, two wanted persons and two welfare checks.

The Evanston Police Department made four arrests between the dates of Monday, Jan. 16, and Monday, Jan. 23.

Jerry Doan, of Mountain View, was arrested on a warrant for driving under suspension.

Victor Hernandez, of Evanston, was arrested for attempting to elude, driving under suspension, intent to deliver a controlled substance, property destruction and reckless driving.

Jacob Krieger, of Evanston, was arrested for battery.

James Mack, of Evanston, was arrested on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
