The Uinta County Commissioners will accept applications for one unexpired term for the Uinta County Economic Development Board with a term expiring 2020. Completed applications are due in the County Clerk’s Office by 5:00 p.m. February 15th to be considered. ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Uinta County Commissioners are requesting bids for a contract to supply gates, panels, posts, and connectors to replace stock pens at the Uinta County Fairgrounds. The successful vendor will be required to furnish all materials at the fairgrounds as defined in the bid documents.
Bid Documents will be available from the Uinta County Maintenance Office or the Uinta County Clerk Office at 225 Ninth Street, Evanston, Wyoming 82930 beginning February 19, 2019.

Sealed bids will be received at the Uinta County Clerk’s Office 225 9th St. Evanston, Wyoming until 11:00A.M. local time, March 19, 2019. Bids should be marked on the outside “2019 Fairgrounds Stock Panel Bid” with the name and address of the bidder. Public opening of the bids will be on Tuesday March 19, 2019 at 11:05 A.M. in the Uinta County Commissioners Conference Room, 225 9th St. Evanston, Wyoming. Bidders are welcome to attend.

INVITATION TO BID
Sealed Bids for the Uinta County Transfer Station – Bridger Valley Project will be received by the Uinta County, Wyoming, through the Uinta County Clerk, 225 9th Street, Evanston, WY 82930, until 2:00 p.m. on March 19, 2019, at which time the Bids received will be publicly open and read. The Project is intended as a one bid process and encompasses all aspects of construction for the transfer station from excavation through construction and signage. Construction is estimated to begin on April 22, 2019 with final completion by September 27, 2019. All bids must be hand delivered or mailed using UPS or Fed Ex. No bids will be accepted by U.S. Postal Service, facsimile or electronic mail.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis on the Bid Form included in the Bidding Documents.

An electronic copy of Bidding Documents, including Project Manual, will be provided at no cost. A paper copy is available upon request and receipt of a NON REFUNDABLE payment of two-hundred and twenty-five dollars ($225) per set.
No bids will be opened unless sealed and filed with the Uinta County Clerk and accompanied by a bid bond payable to Uinta County for 5% of the bid amount (to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the even that a bidder fails to enter promptly into a written agreement contract and furnish the required documents within thirty (30) days after award).
The successful bidder shall provide a 100% Performance and Payment bond as security for the faithful performance and payment of all of Contractor’s obligations under the Contract.
Pursuant to Wyoming Statutes (W.S.) §16-1-101 et seq and §16-6-106, preference is hereby given to Wyoming resident contractors and materials, supplies, agricultural products, equipment, machinery and provisions produced, manufactured, or grown in Wyoming, or supplied by a resident of the state, quality being equal to articles offered by competitors outside the State. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises are encouraged to bid.
A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 p.m. on March 7, 2019, in the Mountain View Library located at 322 2nd Street, Mountain View, Wyoming, 82939. All prospective bidders who wish to submit a proposal must attend. Any prospective bidder who arrives later than 2:00 p.m. with be disqualified.
Partial payment during project will be subject to retainage as provided by W.S. §16-6-702. Bidder can designate an interest bearing account for retainage pending final approval and payment. Final payment will not issue pending compliance with W.S. §16-6-116 and §16-6-117.
Uinta County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive informality and irregularities in proposals.
