EVANSTON — The Uinta County Sexual Assault and Family Violence (SAFV) Task Force held its second Gentleman’s Take Back the Night/Stand Against Violence fundraiser at the Evanston Youth Club on Saturday, March 9.
The event featured blackjack, roulette and other games, a DJ, a silent auction, door prizes and a gun raffle. Dinner from Paff’s was served, as was dessert, beer and wine.
There was a large showing by the community, and their efforts raised nearly $3,000.
SAFV Director Jesse Barnes said, “The proceeds will go back to helping victims in Uinta County with things like emergency sheltering, food, legal expenses, diapers, and other basic needs.”
Barnes thanked auction donors, volunteers and attendees.
