Uinta County Sheriff’s Office incidents
Oct. 16-22, 2017
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s office responded to 95 incidents between the dates of Monday, Oct. 16, and Sunday, Oct. 22. Incidents included two alarms, five ambulance or medical assists, two animal problems, simple assault, 13 agency assists, breaking and entering, a citizen dispute, a citizen assist, a citizen investigative contact, counterfeit funds, five controlled substance possessions, controlled substance use, two DUIs, two driving under suspension incidents, two escorts, four fires and eight information reports.
Deputies also responded to a report of a juvenile runaway, four livestock problems, a noise problem, two prisoner transports, four rancher contacts, a sex offense, a search warrant, a traffic accident with property damage, two traffic offenses, trespassing, unsecure premises, vandalism, and four welfare checks.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s office arrested eight persons between the dates of Oct. 16 and Oct. 22
Anderson D. Antelope, Sr., of Evanston, was arrested for public intoxication.
Nicholas B. Hanson, of Rock Springs, was arrested on a courtesy hold for another agency.
Daniel D. Johnston, of Evanston, was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
Seth R. Kauffman, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence and driving while under suspension.
Cody M. Trujillo, of Randolph, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance.
Dustin W. Vickrey, of Evanston, was arrested for a drug violation, being under the influence of a controlled substance, possessing a controlled substance and child endangering.
Kara J. Vickrey, of Vernal, Utah, was arrested for misdemeanor probation revocation, being under the influence of a controlled substance and a drug violation.
Reanna L. York, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence, possessing a controlled substance and minor in possession.
