Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.

The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office responded to 107 incidents between the dates of Monday, June 11, and Sunday, June 17. Incidents included four alarms, four ambulance or medical assists, three animal problems, eight agency assists, two citizen disputes, controlled substance possession, DUI, DUS, three fires, fraud, a gunshot wound, keeping the peace, lost or found property, eight livestock problems, a nuisance call, a sex offense, four traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic accident with personal injury, vandalism, three wanted persons and eight welfare checks. 

The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office arrested five persons between the dates of June 11 and June 17. One arrest record was redacted.

Clifton R. Apple, of Robertson, was arrested for bond revocation. 

Michael A. Gonzalez, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence. 

James A. Hart, of Mountain View, was arrested for misdemeanor probation violation and possessing a controlled substance. 

Garth O. Stringer, of Mountain View, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance.
