Uinta County Sheriff’s Office incidents
July 31 - Aug. 6, 2017
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office responded to 112 incidents between the dates of Monday, July 31, and Sunday, Aug. 6. Incidents included an abandoned vehicle, an alarm, seven ambulance or medical assists, four animal problems, simple assault, eight agency assists, nine citizen assists, three citizen investigative contacts, four incidents of controlled substance possession, a dead body, an escort, a family fight and three frauds.
Deputies also responded to two incidents of harassment, 12 information reports, a jail offense, two juvenile problems, keeping the peace, five livestock problems, property damage (non-vandalism), two protection order violations, property destruction, two rancher contacts, a sex offense, two incidents of suspicion, a hit and run, three traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic accident with personal injury, three traffic complaints, three traffic offenses, theft, two wanted persons and two welfare checks.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office arrested five persons between the dates of July 31 and Aug. 6.
Gregory D. Dudley, of Mountain View, was arrested for driving while under suspension.
Tyler R. Green, of Mountain View, was arrested for criminal entry, for aggravated assault and battery and for being a minor in possession.
Timothy J. Harter, of Evanston, was arrested as an arrest and hold for probation and parole.
Jason R. Johnson, of Lyman, was arrested for a misdemeanor probation violation.
Shantel L. Sponsler, of West Jordan, Utah, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance.
