Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.

The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office responded to 96 incidents between the dates of Monday, Feb. 10, and Sunday, Feb. 16. Incidents included two alarms, two ambulance or medical assists, three animal problems, nine agency assists, two citizen disputes, two citizen assists, a civil process service, two controlled substance possessions, controlled substance sale or manufacturing, domestic violence, three DUIs, an escort, two fires, fraud, 16 information reports, an intoxicated person, three background investigations, two jail offenses, keeping the peace, lost or found property, a message delivery, a prisoner transport, a public service program, recovered stolen property, a suspicious incident, a sex offender registration, three traffic accidents with property damage, three traffic offenses, traffic control, trespassing, a warrant arrest and a welfare check.

The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office arrested seven persons between the dates of Feb. 10 and Feb. 16.

Chase A. Bitsue, of Evanston, was arrested and held for a probation and parole issue.

Paul A. Dewsnup, of Deseret, Utah, was arrested on a warrant for failing to appear.

Warren Y. Johnson, of Evanston, was arrested for misdemeanor probation revocation.

Robert P. O’Hara, of South Jordan, Utah, was arrested for driving while under the influence.

Ryan V. Rapaport, of Whately, Massachusetts, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance and possessing a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

Dana A. Stone, of Mountain View, was arrested for driving while under the influence.

Lucas B. Taylor, of Evanston, was arrested for property destruction, felony theft, possessing stolen property and conspiracy.
