Uinta County Sheriff’s Office incidents
Dec. 23, 2019 - Jan. 5, 2020
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office responded to 148 incidents between the dates of Monday, Dec. 23, and Sunday, Jan. 5. Incidents included an assault, six alarms, five ambulance or medical assists, seven animal problems, 23 agency assists, a citizen complaint, two citizen disputes, three citizen assists, three controlled substance possessions, marijuana possession, a DUI, four fires, fraud, 17 information reports, an intoxicated person, a background investigation, four jail offenses, a livestock problem, a missing person, a parking problem, non-vandalism property damage, four prisoner transports, possession of stolen property, a public service program, a recovered stolen vehicle, a suspicious incident, seven traffic accidents with property damage, three traffic offenses, property theft, vehicle theft, five wanted persons and seven welfare checks.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office arrested nine persons between the dates of Dec. 23 and Jan. 5.
Rowdy L. Bess, of Mountain View, was arrested for domestic battery.
Neal K. Brown, of Randolph, Utah, was arrested on a warrant for failing to pay.
Brooke L. Childers, of Denver, was arrested on an out-of-county warrant and for possessing stolen property.
Conrad P. Desch, of Evanston, was arrested on an out-of-county warrant.
Richard T. Hoffman, of Salt Lake City, was arrested for possessing stolen property, drug violations and being a felon in possession of a weapon.
Dean A. Sorensen, of Fort Bridger, was arrested for second or third offense driving while under the influence.
Erika R. Timbana, of Fort Washakie, was arrested on an out-of-county warrant.
Patrick J. Whittier, of Roseville, California, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance.
Dominic R. Wuyts, of Lyman, was arrested for littering.
