Wyoming State Health Officer Dr. Alexia Harrist has approved a mask order for Uinta County after a request was made Wednesday by local health officer Dr. Mike Adams. The order will apply to residents “when any person is inside, or in line to enter, any retail or commercial business, or any government facility open to the general public, including county and municipal buildings but excluding state and federal buildings; or
“When any person is obtaining services at, or visiting healthcare operations… when any person is waiting for or riding public transportation.”
The Uinta County Commission is scheduled to meet at 8 a.m. Friday for an emergency meeting, and the only item on the agenda is to address public health orders.
See Friday’s Uinta County Herald for a more detailed story.
