Trona Valley Credit Union closed early on of Oct. 18, except for the drive-thru window, and staff instead spent several hours at Smith’s Food and Drug and Walmart collecting donations for the Evanston Hungry Children Backpack Program.
Employees of the credit union said in honor of International Credit Union Day they decided to get out into the community and give back.
