Stanley Rollins Walker, our beloved husband, father, grandpa (turkey) and great-grandpa, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, April 29, in Ogden, Utah.

He was born on April 16, 1943, to Ellis Colvin Walker and Kimba Rollins Walker in Lyman, at the Heritage Farm.

He graduated from Lyman High School and attended Weber State College to study auto mechanics.

Stan met the love of his life, Sharon Angwin, and they were married on November 24, 1962, in Mountain View, and later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on April 14, 1971.

Stan loved sports and coached many teams from football to baseball. He served as commissioner of the WFFL for many years. Stan was a Scoutmaster and president of the square dance club. He also served in many bishoprics and ward positions. He had a passion for the outdoors, which included hunting, fishing and camping with family and friends.

Stan worked for many years at “Ma Bell,” Mountain Bell. He also worked for Clearfield Job Corp.

Stan will be greatly missed by his wife of 56 years Sharon, of Lyman; and his children: Jeff Walker of Lyman; Natalie Mills (Roger) of Hooper, Utah; James Walker of Castle Dale, Utah; and Jason Walker (Tiffany) of Layton, Utah.

He is also survived by 18 grandkids and 25 great-grandkids, with four on the way, and by his brother, Ramon Walker, of Lyman.

Stan was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Kimba Walker; his father-in-law, Warren Angwin; brother-in-law, John Angwin; and a great-granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, in the Lyman Stake Center in Urie. Viewing will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday at the church and from 9-10:30 a.m., prior to the funeral on Saturday.

Stan will be laid to rest in Fort Bridger Cemetery.
