Skylar Kauffman, age 31, passed away in a tragic vehicle accident on the afternoon of Friday, Oct. 4, in Bear River.
Skylar was an amazing father, son, brother and friend to so many he crossed paths with in this walk of life. He loved the outdoors, the Wyoming sky, cooking, music, laughter, kung fu, yoga and family.
Skylar is survived by his parents, Russell Long and Melody Long; his wife Kimberly Owens; the mother of his son, Thrissy Ansel; his son, Gabriel Kauffman; his daughter, Lillith Wagner; his brothers Alex, Doug, Chris and Seth Kauffman, and Jesse, Brandon and Justin Long; and his best friend Shanti. He is loved and deeply missed by his family and friends.
Skylar’s celebration of life will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston.
