Sharon Dee Haviland, our sister, wife, mother and grandmother, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 9, in Casper. She was born Feb. 10, 1956, in Evanston, a daughter to Robert (Bob) and Donna V. (Saxton) Angelo. Her siblings included Yvonne, Barbara and Robert (Bob).
Sharon attended school in Evanston. Sharon and Kit Sauer married and had two sons, Keith Weston and Karl Wayne. Following the divorce from her first husband, she met and married Ron Haviland. Sharon worked for many years at the Wyoming State Hospital as a CNA and in the housekeeping department. Sharon’s most loved job was loving and caring for Ron, her two sons and her grandchildren.
She so loved her grandchildren and looked forward to their visits, calls and pictures. Sharon not only loved family, she also loved nature and animals. She loved all her dogs and all the kittens that showed up on her steps.
Sharon faced every challenge with dignity, humility and heart.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Ron Haviland; son, Karl (Allison) Sauer; grandchildren, Jake Sauer, Ryan Sauer, Dillon and Sasha Sauer; brother, Bob Angelo; sisters, Yvonne (Gary) Massa and Barbara Angelo; and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
Sharin is preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Donna Angelo; and her son, Keith Sauer.
She is now at rest, but she has begun a new journey with loved ones and all her pets.
Cremation will take place at her request, and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
