Robin Smith, 69, passed away at Evanston Regional Hospital on Monday, April 11.
She was born on Aug. 14, 1952, in Los Angeles, California, to Wendall and Mae (Winder) Maxfield.
On Sept. 4, 1981, she married Richard Smith, in West Valley, Utah.
Robin was very active in the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, Richard; a daughter, Stefanie Day, and Stefanie’s husband, Andy Day; and a sister, Sherry Maxfield. She will also be missed by her three granddaughters, Talia Rudkin, Hunter Rudkin and Delayni Day.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Wendy Faber.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
