Peggy Ann Bluemel

Peggy Ann Bluemel, beloved mother, sister, and grandmother passed away Thursday, Nov. 22, at 79 years old. 

She was born April 12, 1939, in Mountain View. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Peggy will be forever remembered by her loved ones.

She was always kind and fun to be around, bringing much joy to her family. She never in her life smoked a cigarette or tasted alcohol. Peggy loved to paint, sing, cook, play the piano, go for drives, eat, visit with family, play games and just enjoy life.

She served in many church callings serving others by playing the piano. She was loved by everyone who knew her and she will be greatly missed, especially by her family.

She is survived by her sons, Alan (Laura) Bluemel, Barry (Julie) Bluemel, Evan Dee (Heather) Bluemel, Stacey (Dayna) Bluemel and Stan (Wilma) Bluemel of Lyman; daughters, Edyth (Steve) Matthews, and Peggy (Donald) Parker of Lyman; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; sisters, Doris Suiter, Dixie (Alan) Day and Jeanine (Lee) Nelson; and brothers, David (Barbara) Slagowski, Harold Slagowski and Kirk (Penny) Slagowski.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Bluemel; parents, Earl Slagowski and Iduma Graham Slagowski; and sisters, Kay (Paul) Wilkinson and Sheila (Mike) Johnson. 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 28, at the Urie Stake Center in Urie. A viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 27, and from 10-11 a.m. on Wednesday at the stake center. Burial will be in Lyman Cemetery.
