Michael Don Lloyd was born on Dec. 30, 1960, to Eldon and Lorraine Lloyd in Evanston. Mike fought a valiant battle against cancer but silently slipped into heaven on April 26. Mike goes to walk the streets of heaven with his sister, Kimberly Lloyd; his son Joseph Umphrey; and his grandparents. He was known to all who knew him as a very loving father, husband, grandpa, son, brother, uncle and friend.
Mike is survived by his wife Wendy, daughter Emily Umphrey and grandsons Joseph and Hunter Aston and Noah Umphrey, all of Green River; parents Eldon and Lorraine Lloyd, brother Steve (Julie) Cates, brother Charlie, niece Heather Beaudoin and children Scott and Avery, nephew Doug Cates and children Dayton and Remington, all of Evanston; son Michael Levi Lloyd of Maricopa, Arizona, and brother Allen (Cindy) Lloyd and their children of Marshfield, Missouri. Mike also leaves behind many cousins and other family and friends.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 29, at the Elm Street LDS Ward Chapel in Evanston, with a viewing held one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Laketown Cemetery, in Laketown, Utah.
