Mark Dyer, 81, passed away Tuesday, May 25, at his home in Evanston.

He was born Aug. 17, 1939, in Chicago, to Louis Charles and Alyce Larson Dyer. He lived 35 years in Coal City, Illinois, where he owned and operated Bozo’s Liquor, Mazon Market, Corporate Search Inc., Chicago Best Restaurant and Coal City Car Wash.

In November of 1961, he married Celine Tremblay. They had two children, Bryan Dyer and Nicole Dyer. Mark was a United States Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Celine Dyer; two children, Bryan and Nicole (Justin); a grandchild, Abigael; and a brother, Allan (Judy) Dyer.

Mark is preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Dyer.

There will be a memorial service at a later date.
