Lori Ann Jacobsen, 58, returned to her Heavenly Father Monday, April 10, at her residence in Evanston after a valiant battle with breast cancer.

She was born in Evanston to Edwin Jacob and Jeanette Gene Kiddy Jacobsen on Oct. 5, 1958, and was a CNA for the Wyoming State Hospital. Lori’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandson Bradyen delighting in their love for chocolate. Lori’s biggest passion was caring for others and those less fortunate than herself. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, and brother Albert Werner.

Lori is survived by her daughter, Marina Sorenson; brothers Frank Spero and Tom Jacobsen; sisters, Teddie Sterling, Jeannie Cornia, Joannie Cornia and Anita Makinen; and grandson, Bradyen Sorenson.

There was a celebration of her life on Thursday, April 13, at the Depot Square in Evanston.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Cowboy Cares for their tender compassionate service.
