The Evanston Parks and Recreation District, Uinta County Library, and Evanston Regional Hospital are proud to once again offer their annual Reading is Recreation Activity. This activity provides reading, recreational activities and games during a fun-filled evening.
This year’s theme is Reading Rangers, and children can dress up as their favorite forest ranger. Every child who attends will also have a free book ordered for them that will be available to pick up at the Uinta County Library in the future.
This year’s event will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 28, at the Bear River Greenway Ice Ponds and Community Center.
The activity is free, but pre-registration is required. Register online at evanstonparksandrec.org, at the Recreation Center or by calling (307) 789-1770. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
