Lila H. Taylor, 91, of Ft. Bridger, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 12. She was born on Jan. 29, 1930, in Superior, to Lawrence and Alice Eudora (Rasmussen) Hysell. She married Marvin Edward Taylor on June 10, 1948, in Evanston. He preceded her in death on June 29, 1994.

Lila loved dancing, bowling, music, cooking and being outdoors. In her early years, she enjoyed sewing, quilting and embroidery. She was also an avid animal lover, having a fondness for sheep and lambs, along with all the baby ranch animals. She also loved the moose because they are so ugly! Lila especially loved her family and was a mother to many. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved going to Relief Society. In her later years, Lila enjoyed learning to use the computer.

Lila is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Alice Hysell; her husband, Marvin Taylor; son, Laurry Taylor; daughter-in-law, Ruth Taylor; and sisters, Eudora Hysell Cantlin and Ina Hysell Lamb.

She is survived by her children, Eddie Taylor (Nancy Housel) of Millburne, Lona K. Taylor of Millburne, and Ron Taylor (Sherone) of Evanston; brothers, Ken Hysell (Liz) of Diamondville, Merlin Hysell (Dora Kay) of Mountain View, Dale Hysell (Alice) of Millburne and Lee Hysell (Linda) of Mountain View; sister, Marlene Hysell Sheets (DeRoy) of Kemmerer; along with many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at Millburne Cemetery in Ft. Bridger on Saturday, Aug. 21, at 10 a.m., with a viewing one hour prior, at the gravesite. There will be a luncheon provided afterward at the Urie Stake Center in the pavilion.
