Gary Charles Lawrence, 71, of Evanston, passed away surrounded by family on April 23. Gary was born on April 27, 1948, to Charles Vincent Lawrence and Louise (Stringham) Lawrence in San Diego, California.
He worked at Hill Air Force Base as an explosion machinist for many years and later retired as a supervisor. Gary met his beloved wife, Mickey P. Payne, and married her on Sept. 19, 1977, in Clearfield, Utah. They later renewed their vows on Oct. 29, 2019, here in Evanston.
Gary is survived by his loving wife, Mickey of Evanston; two sons, Daniel (Jennifer) Lawrence and Kevin (Tiffany) Lawrence, both of Vancouver, Washington; and a sister, Carol (Michael) Wilson of West Valley City, Utah.
A private family service took place on April 25.
