Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.

The Evanston Police Department responded to 153 incidents between the dates of Monday, Nov. 20, and Wednesday, Nov. 29. Incidents included five alarms, three ambulance or medical assists, 18 animal problems, three agency assists, breach of peace, residential burglary, two citizen complaints, seven citizen disputes, five citizen assists, two citizen investigative contacts, three civil problems, two controlled substance possessions, two DUIs, a fire, a family problem, fireworks, an information report and two intoxicated persons.

Officers also responded to five juvenile problems, a juvenile runaway, lost or found property, a minor in possession of alcohol, three parking problems, a residence or vehicle lockout, two missing persons, non-vandalism property damage, two property destruction incidents, three prisoner transports, suspicious activity, five suspicions, a suspicious person/circumstance, four hit and runs, nine traffic accidents with property damage, two traffic complaints, threatening, a tobacco problem, four property thefts, unsecure premises, vandalism, a wanted person and eight welfare checks.

The Evanston Police Department arrested 11 persons between the dates of Nov. 27 and Nov. 29.

Eric W. Alsobrook, of Ligin, South Carolina, was arrested for driving while under the influence.

Anderson D. Antelope Sr., of Evanston, was arrested for public intoxication.

Cecilia E. Cazares-Spencer, of Evanston, was arrested for breach of peace.

James C. Cozad, of Evanston, was arrested for property destruction and interfering with a police officer.

Zachery T. Harris, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear and possessing a controlled substance.

Makayla D. Johns, of Evanston, was arrested for burglary. 

Jason R. Jones, of Evanston, was arrested for public intoxication.

Christopher D. Kauffman, of Evanston, was arrested for breach of peace.

John T. Smith, of Bay City, Texas, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance. 

Alisha M. Willard, of Evanston, was arrested for burglary. 

Joshua J. Wood, of Chesapeake, Virginia, was arrested for driving while under the influence.
