Evanston police incidents
Nov. 13-19, 2017
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.
The Evanston Police Department responded to 110 incidents between the dates of Monday, Nov. 13, and Sunday, Nov. 19. Incidents included eight alarms, five ambulance or medical assists, 13 animal problems, a simple assault, five agency assists, two citizen disputes, six citizen assists, a citizen investigative contact, three civil problems, a family fight, an intoxicated person, a juvenile runaway and three juvenile problems.
Officers also responded to three keep the peace incidents, lost or found property, four noise problems, two parking problems, a protection order violation, two prisoner transports, suspicion, a suspicious incident, a hit and run, five traffic accidents with property damage, threatening, vagrancy, vandalism, two wanted persons and seven welfare checks.
The Evanston Police Department arrested five persons between the dates of Nov. 13 and Nov. 19.
Jose I. Clemente, of Evanston, was arrested for public intoxication and trespassing.
Juan P. Delgado, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear.
Dennis J. Gross, of Evanston, was arrested for breach of peace and making a false report with a police officer.
Daniel L. Putnam, of Woods Cross, Utah, was arrested for public intoxication.
Dusty R. Sweatfield, of Evanston, was arrested for child abuse.
