Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.

The Evanston Police Department responded to 147 incidents between the dates of Thursday, May 3, and Wednesday, May 9. Incidents included two alarms, four ambulance or medical assists, 25 animal problems, simple assault, non-residential burglary (Bear River Drive), three citizen assists, two citizen disputes, disorderly conduct, DUI, driving under suspension, possession of paraphernalia, eluding by motor vehicle, a family fight, three harassments, three juvenile problems, four keeping the peace incidents, lost or found property, a minor in possession of alcohol, a missing person, obstructing justice, non-vandalism property damage, property destruction, a prowler (Sunset Avenue), four suspicious incidents, six traffic accidents with property damage, three property thefts, two trespassing incidents, three wanted persons and 10 welfare checks. 

The Evanston Police Department arrested 16 persons between the dates of May 3 and May 6. One arrest record was a redacted juvenile record.

Naomy E. Briscoe, of Evanston, was arrested for contempt of court. 

Tammy L. Burnette, of Evanston, was arrested on a warrant for failing to pay.

Curtis J. Carter, of Salt Lake City, was arrested for failing to stop for a crash, attempting to elude police, being a fugitive from justice and driving while under suspension.

Cody D. Clift, of Evanston, was arrested for the purchase or possession of alcohol by or for someone under the age of 21 and damage to private or public property.

Zachary S. Ellis, of Evanston, was arrested for battery of a household member.

Colby A. Elsen, of Evanston, was arrested for the purchase or possession of alcohol by or for someone under the age of 21. 

Ernest B. Gerrard, of Evanston, was arrested for disorderly conduct and possessing paraphernalia. 

Luke D. Gerrard, of Evanston, was arrested on a warrant and for the purchase or possession of alcohol by or for someone under the age of 21.  

James L. Jennings, of Evanston, was arrested for possessing paraphernalia. 

Seth R. Kauffman, of Evanston, was arrested for having an open container, public intoxication and interfering with police. 

Tonya L. Lazaro, of Evanston, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance with intent to deliver. 

Steven T. Parrish, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under suspension. 

Keith M. Persavich, of Evanston, was arrested for 2nd or 3rd offense driving while under the influence, driving while under suspension and a misdemeanor probation violation.

Shane Saxton, of Dingle, Idaho, was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Tyler Withouse, of Evanston, was arrested for the purchase or possession of alcohol by or for someone under the age of 21.
