May 10-16, 2018

Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.

The Evanston Police Department responded to 145 incidents between the dates of Thursday, May 10, and Wednesday, May 16. Incidents included four alarms, six ambulance or medical assists, 26 animal problems, eight citizen disputes, six citizen assists, counterfeit funds, controlled substance possession, controlled substance sale or manufacturing, domestic violence, driving under the influence, a family problem, a fire, two harassment incidents, three juvenile problems, keeping the peace, lost or found property, five suspicious incidents, six traffic accidents with property damage, two property thefts, unsecure premises and two welfare checks.

The Evanston Police Department arrested 9 persons between the dates of May 10 and May 16.

Samuel L. Bragg, of Evanston, was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Bruce E. Gerber, of Evanston, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance. 

Dennis J. Gross, of Evanston, was arrested for property destruction, stalking and criminal entry.

Zachery T. Harris, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear, possessing paraphernalia and possessing a controlled substance. 

Makayla D. Johns, of Evanston, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance and possessing paraphernalia. 

Nichole Lamoureux, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence with a BAC of .08 percent or greater, possessing a controlled substance and possessing paraphernalia.

Jonathan A. Olivares, of Evanston, was arrested for possessing stolen property.

Anthony W. Pipkins, of Evanston, was arrested for misdemeanor probation violation, possessing a controlled substance and possessing paraphernalia. 

John D. Thompson, of Evanston, was arrested for domestic assault.
