Evanston police incidents
March 12-14, 2018
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.
The Evanston Police Department responded to 50 incidents between the dates of Monday, March 12, and Wednesday, March 14. Incidents included three alarms, five ambulance or medical assists, 11 animal problems, a DUI, a fire, a juvenile problem, suspicion, traffic accident with property damage, property theft from a motor vehicle (Riverside Loop) and four welfare checks.
The Evanston Police Department arrested three persons between the dates of March 12 and March 14.
Connor J. Smith, of Mills, was arrested for driving while under the influence with a BAC of .08 percent or greater and driving while under suspension.
Donessa M. Spero, of Evanston, was arrested for the purchase or possession of alcohol by or for someone under the age of 21.
Shayann M. Wicks, of Laramie, was arrested for the purchase or possession of alcohol by or for someone under the age of 21.
