June 22-28, 2017

Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.

The Evanston Police Department responded to 172 incidents between the dates of Thursday, June 22, and Wednesday, June 28. Incidents included six agency assists, three citizen disputes, counterfeit funds, marijuana, three incidents of drugs, domestic violence, a DUI, driving under suspension, two family fights, two fires, two frauds, harassment, property destruction, a hit and run, nine traffic accidents with property damage, threatening, three thefts, two incidents of trespassing, four incidents of vandalism, a wanted person, a child welfare check and eight welfare checks. 

The Evanston Police Department arrested 10 persons between the dates of June 22 and June 28. 

Adonia G. Cariaga, of Evanston, was arrested for battery of a household member. 

Michael R. Childers, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under suspension and for possessing paraphernalia. 

Taylor D. Halladay, of Evanston, was arrested for a drug court sanction. 

Bobby D. Layton, of Evanston, was arrested for public intoxication. 

Gordon L. Ochs, of Boulder, Colorado, was arrested for disorderly conduct and for public intoxication. 

Anthony W. Pipkins, of Evanston, was arrested for violating a protection order, for possessing a controlled substance and for possessing paraphernalia. 

Timothy J. Slama III, of Evanston, was arrested for a misdemeanor probation violation. 

Bart A. Stewart, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol. 

Charles W. Walk, of Rock Springs, was arrested for failing to pay child support and for possessing a controlled substance. 

Jason M. Williams, of Rock Springs, was arrested for intimidating a witness.
