Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.

The Evanston Police Department responded to 226 incidents between the dates of Monday, June 18, and Wednesday, July 1. Incidents included an abandoned vehicle, eight alarms,  ambulance or medical assists, 63 animal problems, simple assault, two agency assists, 11 citizen disputes, child neglect, DUI, two fireworks incidents, four juvenile problems, keeping the peace, a minor in possession of alcohol, controlled substance possession and a missing person.

Officers also responded to eight noise problems, a fire, a fraud, a protection order violation, non-vandalism property damage, suspicious activity, nine suspicious incidents, four suspicions, a sex offense, two hit-and-run accidents, 11 traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic hazard, two property thefts, theft of vehicle parts, unsecure premises, shoplifting, two wanted persons, two warrant arrests and 18 welfare checks.

The Evanston Police Department arrested 17 persons between the dates of June 18 and July 1.

Terri L. Brown, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence with a BAC of .08 percent or greater.

Lance R. Collins, of Kemmerer, was arrested for violating a protection order. 

James L. Jennings, of Evanston, was arrested and held for a probation and parole violation.

Brian R. Holford, of Evanston, was arrested for an escape from detention.

Edward J. Lorenz, of Evanston, was arrested for battery.

Heather E. Maakestad, of Evanston, was arrested for possessing paraphernalia and possessing a controlled substance. 

Celia Torres, of Evanston, was arrested for identity theft and on an INS hold. 

Edward A. Wilke, of Evanston, was arrested as a fugitive from justice.  

Santos J. Gonzales, of Willis, Texas, was arrested for aggravated assault and battery.

Day Htoo, of Bountiful, Utah, was arrested for driving while under suspension. 

William W. Lewis, of Evanston, was arrested for felony probation revocation.

Andrew R. Lueras III, of Sacramento, California, was arrested for possessing stolen property, possessing a controlled substance and robbery.

Daniel R. Lueras, of Yuba City, California, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance, possessing stolen property and as an accessory after the fact.

Donnalisa M. Martinez, of Evanston, was arrested on a warrant for failing to pay and for a child support issue. 

James D. Pawlosky, of Bay City, Texas, was arrested for driving while under the influence.

Ciara A. Pharnes, of Browns Valley, California, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance and as an accessory after the fact.

Paul Saavedra, of Evanston, was arrested for voyeurism and as a felon in possession of a weapon.
