Evanston police incidents
July 24-30, 2017
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.
The Evanston Police Department responded to 180 incidents between the dates of Monday, July 24, and Sunday, July 30. Incidents included two abandoned vehicles, 10 ambulance or medical assists, 27 animal problems, an agency assist, a business security violation, two citizen disputes, three citizen assists, a citizen investigative contact, a civil problem, counterfeiting, two incidents of drug paraphernalia, two domestic problems, three incidents of domestic violence, disturbing the peace, two DUIs, three incidents of driving under suspension, a family fight, a family problem, two fires, two frauds, three incidents of harassment, four information reports, two incidents of intoxication, six juvenile problems, a missing person, four noise problems, five suspicious incidents, a hit and run, five traffic accidents with property damage, two traffic complaints, five incidents of property theft, four incidents of vandalism, three wanted persons, a warrant arrest and seven welfare checks.
The Evanston Police Department arrested 15 persons between the dates of July 24 and July 30.
Yai Dut Ajing, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, was arrested for public intoxication, for damaging private or public property and for having an open container.
Karla P. Anderson, of Evanston, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance with the intent to deliver.
Kasey L. Dodson, of Farmerville, Louisiana, was arrested on warrant out of Uinta County.
Jesse J. Fretter, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under suspension.
Zachery T. Harris, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear.
Bradley D. Hemingway, of Riverton, Utah, was arrested for public intoxication.
Jodi D. Holgate, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under suspension.
Jacob W. Krieger, of Evanston, was arrested for battery.
Christopher S. Miles, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, was arrested for domestic battery, for a second or third offense of driving under the influence and for driving without an interlock device.
Jonathan A. Olivares, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under suspension.
Hugo E. Razo Navarro, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol and for an exhibition of acceleration (racing).
Rustin K. Reep, of Evanston, was arrested for disorderly conduct, for purchasing or possessing alcohol as a minor, for possessing a controlled substance and for domestic assault.
Darrin C. Staley, of Evanston, was arrested for domestic battery.
Devin R. Symons, of Kemmerer, was arrested for forgery/counterfeiting.
Cody R. Young, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear.
