Evanston police incidents
Aug. 31 - Sept. 6, 2017
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.
The Evanston Police Department responded to 154 incidents between the dates of Thursday, Aug. 31, and Wednesday, Sept. 6. Incidents included an assault, six alarms, 10 ambulance or medical assists, an assault on police officer with a weapon, counterfeit funds, controlled substance possession, two domestic incidents, domestic violence, two drug interdictions, two DUIs, three family fights, a fire and four family problems.
Officers also responded to a report of fraud, three harassment incidents, two intoxicated persons, nine keep the peace incidents, lost or found property, minor in possession of alcohol, a missing person, nine noise problems, a nuisance call, four traffic accidents with property damage, three property thefts, vagrancy, two vandalism incidents, and nine welfare checks.
The Evanston Police Department arrested 13 persons between the dates of Aug. 31 and Sept. 6.
Austin Bowden, of Evanston, was arrested for battery.
Jorge Carranza-Cabrera, of Park City, Utah, was arrested for public intoxication.
Cameron A. Clay, of Indianapolis, Indiana, was arrested for breach of peace and possessing a controlled substance.
Lara A. Demientieff, of Park City, Utah, was arrested for public intoxication.
Dirk W. Green, of Evanston, was arrested for domestic battery.
Jeffery K. Gregory, of Evanston, was arrested for domestic assault.
Bryan L. Hanson-Figueroa, of Evanston, was arrested for domestic battery
Marvin C. Locke, of Tacoma, Washington, was arrested for pedestrian under the influence and theft of services.
Luis A. Lopez Aquino, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence with a BAC of .08 percent or greater.
Ryan L. Roberts, of Reno, Nevada, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance, possessing paraphernalia, breach of peace, property destruction, disorderly conduct, and damage to private or public property.
Michael J. Saxton, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence with a BAC of .08 percent or greater.
Johanna Steinbeck, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence, assault of a police officer, and interfering with a police officer.
Kiley M. Torzewski, of Fishers, Indiana, was arrested for breach of peace, possessing a controlled substance, and failure to carry proof of insurance.
