Evanston police incidents
Dec. 2-8, 2019
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.
The Evanston Police Department responded to 132 incidents between the dates of Monday, Dec. 2, and Sunday, Dec. 8. Incidents included four alarms, four ambulance or medical assists, 26 animal problems, two agency assists, two citizen disputes, a citizen complaint, three citizen assists, a civil problem, a citizen investigative contact, two domestic violence incidents, a DUI, harassment, five information reports, two intoxicated persons, two juvenile problems, five keeping the peace incidents, lost or found property, two missing persons, paraphernalia, three parking problems, a prisoner transport, suspicion, a hit and run, 10 traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic complaint, three shoplifting incidents, automobile theft, two wanted persons and nine welfare checks.
The Evanston Police Department arrested six persons between the dates of Dec. 2 and Dec. 8.
Hubert H. Andrews III, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear and misdemeanor probation violation.
Steven Arechiga, of Salt Lake City, was arrested for credit card fraud, possessing stolen property and possessing paraphernalia.
Gregory J. Byrne, of Mountain View, was arrested for driving while under the influence.
Jordan V. Fox, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear.
Anthony L. Lunde, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear.
Richard B. Taylor, of Evanston, was arrested for hit and run.
