Chester Albert Anderson

Mr. Chester Albert Anderson, 68, passed away April 3, at his home in Evanston.

He was born Feb. 13, 1951, in Hibbing, Minnesota, to Chester Roland and Evelyn Elizabeth Johnson Anderson. He had been a resident of Evanston for more than 40 years. He was a heavy equipment operator.

His passion was motorcycles; he proudly owned a 1976 Harley Davidson FXE Super Glide, which he drove over 200,000 miles while traveling around the country. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a kind and well-loved man by all who had the honor to know him.

He is preceded in death by the true love of his life, his wife, Diane K. Anderson; his father, Chester R. Anderson; and his mother, Evelyn E. Anderson.

Chet is survived by his two brothers, Craig A. Anderson of Superior, Arizona, and Charles (Carla) Anderson of Nashwauk, Minnesota; a sister, Gloria (George) Maras of Hibbing, Minnesota; several nieces and nephews; and two cats he dearly loved and cared for. 

A celebration of life memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced by Crandall Funeral Home of Evanston.
