BOARD OF UINTA COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Uinta County Commissioners will hold a Special Meeting on Wednesday, June 30, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. to consider and take action on the following items: final bill payment for fiscal year 2020; FY 20 Budget Amendment No. 4; Drug Court Grant Agreement, and Mosquito Control Grant Agreement.  No other business will be conducted during the Special Meeting.  The meeting will be in the Commission Chambers at the County Complex 225 9th Street, Evanston.  All interested parties are invited to attend.

On 16, September 2015 Brent P Jorgensen purchased Certificate of Purchase No. I6387 for the 2014 tax year on the following real property: WASATCH RD T15 R120 SEC 19 PT SE1/4NE1/4 at the Uinta County Tax Sale. Then 02, October 2015 the Certificate of Purchase I6387 was reassigned to R. Michael Sellers. The property was taxed in the name of and currently owned by Kilburn I Porter Po Box 547, Evanston, WY 82931. There are no special assessments.  The time for redemption will expire on 30, September 2020. Failure to redeem delinquent taxes for the tax years 2014-2019, assessed in the name of Kilburn I Porter, shall take notice that R. Michael Sellers will apply for a Tax Deed on 15, October 2020 for Certificate of Purchase No. I6387.

The Uinta County Commissioners met in regular session on June 16, 2020 in the commission chambers, 225 9th Street, Evanston.  Chairman Eric South convened meeting at 2:00 p.m. Commissioner Craig Welling and Commissioner Mark Anderson were present.  Also present: Amanda Hutchinson, County Clerk.

Agenda

Motion Anderson, second Welling to approve the agenda.  3 yes votes, passed.

WYDOT Acceptance Agreement

Motion Welling, second Anderson to approve an acceptance agreement with WYDOT for Uinta County to assume responsibility of a section of Highway 150 right of way relinquished by WYDOT.  3 yes votes, passed.

Fenus Salon CUP

Kent Williams, Planner, opened a public hearing to allow for comments regarding a CUP (Conditional Use Permit) for Wade and Cynthia Fenus to place a free standing accessory building on their property located in Block 1 Lot 8 of the Fenus Subdivision to operate as a hair salon.  The property is zoned residential.  No one spoke in favor; no one spoke in opposition.  Motion Welling, second Anderson to authorize CUP 20-01.  3 yes votes, passed.

Revised Inventory Policy

Motion Anderson, second Welling to approve Resolution 20-10 amending the County’s inventory policy.  Motion Anderson, second Welling to approve changing the capitalization threshold from $2,500 to $5,000 as requested by Amanda Hutchinson, County Clerk.  3 yes votes, passed.
