NOTICE TO SOLICIT NOMINATIONS FOR DIRECTORS OF UINTA COUNTY WEED & PEST CONTROL DISTRICT

Appointments to the Uinta County Weed & Pest Control District will be made on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, by the Board of Uinta County Commissioners at the County Complex, 225 9th Street, Evanston, Wyoming.

Pursuant to the Wyoming Weed and Pest Control Act of 1973 (W.S. 11-5-101 through 11-5-303), notice is hereby given to solicit nominations for appointments to Uinta County Weed & Pest Control District. Appointments shall be made in accordance with W.S. 11-5-104.

PUBLIC WORKS PROJECT; MATERIALS AND CONSTRUCTION

PROJECT NAME:   UNION CENTER POWER CONDUIT

SEALED BIDS for construction of the UNION CENTER POWER CONDUIT improvements will be received by the City of Evanston at the office of City Clerk located at 1200 Main Street (City Hall), Evanston, Wyoming; until 1:00 p.m., December 15, 2022 at which time any and all bids received will be opened and read aloud.  The successful bidder shall furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary for completing the project.

MATERIALS INCLUDE:    Approximately; 4,720 feet of 6” diam. Schedule 40 PVC conduit; 6 padvaults; 980 feet of 6” HDPE bore conduit; 5,700 feet of 1,000 lb mule tape; and miscellaneous appurtenances.

WORK INCLUDES: Trench excavation; conduit, switchgear padvault installation, directional boring, and line marker handling and installation; conduit bedding; compacted backfill; traffic control; and miscellaneous work as necessary to complete the project.

RESIDENT PREFERENCE(S): In order to receive a five percent (5%) resident preference, resident contractors and material suppliers must be state certified and receive a certificate of residency.  When obtaining project bid documents, resident contractors and suppliers must   indicate their residency status by providing their residency certification number.  Certified resident suppliers shall submit a list of supplies and materials, specific to the project, which qualify to receive preference along with company contact names and phone numbers.   Contact information from resident suppliers shall be available to resident contractors to use in preparing bids and meeting Wyoming statutory requirements.

The OWNER reserves the right to reject all bids if the Governing Body determines that it is in the best interest of the City to do so.

The completion date for the project shall be March 31, 2023.

ACCEPTING SEALED BIDS

Uinta County Fire and Ambulance is taking sealed bids for a 2012 Ram 4500 Chassis.  Mileage is approximately 110,000.  Door locks don’t work, AC lines are disconnected and not operable and horn doesn’t work.  Heater hoses are temporarily repaired, and paint scheme is from old ambulance.  Chassis may be viewed at 99 East Hayden Ave in Evanston.  Sealed bids may be sent or dropped off to Eric Quinney at 99 East Hayden Ave, Evanston, WY 82930.  Please write 2012 Ram Chassis Bid on envelope.
