EVANSTON — Andrew Hardrick, 31, of Evanston, was arrested and charged with witness intimidation, a felony.
According to the arrest affidavit, Hardrick verbally accosted a district court employee on Feb. 24, demanding to know who filed an order of protection against him. When the employee refused to answer his inquiry, Hardrick threateningly stated that he knew where the Sexual Assault Family Violence (SAFV) Task Force safe house was located and that he would broadcast its location to the public. He then insinuated that he also knew where SAFV employees lived.
If convicted, he faces up to a year in custody and/or a $1,000 fine.
