Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.

The Evanston Police Department responded to 244 incidents between the dates of Monday, Dec. 4, and Sunday, Dec. 17. Incidents included two abandoned vehicles, seven alarms, 15 ambulance or medical assists, 38 animal problems, aggravated assault, assault with a firearm, two simple assaults, eight agency assists, eight citizen assists, four DUIs, four controlled substance possessions, two instances of paraphernalia possession and two instances of driving under suspension.

Officers also responded to two family fights, an emergency detention, a family problem, five harassment incidents, four juvenile problems, child abuse or neglect, discharging a firearm, two noise problems, a sex offense, two prisoner transports, five suspicious incidents, six suspicions, two vandalisms, a hit and run, three traffic complaints, six property thefts, six wanted persons, two child welfare checks and seven welfare check.

The Evanston Police Department arrested 23 persons between the dates of Dec. 4 and Dec. 17.

Aaron R. Allman, of Evanston, was arrested on a warrant for failing to pay.

Fred S. Dcaroco, of South Jordan, Utah, was arrested for driving while under suspension.

Lance K. Dean, of Randolph, was arrested for possessing paraphernalia. 

Garrett B. Scherck, of Evanston, was arrested for shoplifting.

Jason R. Schutterle, of Evanston, was arrested for aggravated assault and battery. 

Gregory M. Bernards, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence with a BAC of .08 percent or greater. 

Naomy E. Briscoe, of Evanston, was arrested for battery.

Jaren Z. Johnson, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence.

Brittany Shoffler, of Horntown, Virginia, was arrested for domestic battery.

Jamis A. Short, of Evanston, was arrested for aggravated assault and battery. 

Kimberly S. Holmes, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence with a BAC of .08 percent or greater.

Seth R. Kauffman, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under suspension.

Chrystal Muller, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence with a BAC of .08 percent or greater.

Rustin K. Reep, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under suspension. 

Curtis L. Adkins, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence with a BAC of .08 percent or greater.

Tabitha P. Biorn, of Evanston, was arrested for purchase or possession of alcohol by someone under 21.

Larry S. Brown, of Orem, Utah, was arrested for driving while under suspension.

Jarett C. Davis, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under suspension.

Virginya L. Dixon, of Evanston, was arrested for criminal entry and possessing paraphernalia.

Robert D. Rose, of Evanston, was arrested for public intoxication.

Shane K. Snyder, of Evanston, was arrested for domestic assault.

Brenda Thompson, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence with a BAC of .08 percent or greater.

Joshua W. Walker, of Evanston, was arrested for forgery/counterfeiting, misdemeanor probation violation and shoplifting.
