CHEYENNE (WNE) — Cheyenne Frontier Days announced Thursday the concerts and performers coming to the 128th anniversary “Daddy of ’em All” this summer. The 2024 lineup features repeat performers like Jason Aldean and Thomas Rhett as well as the likes of Machine Gun Kelly and Ludacris and artists making their Cheyenne debuts, like Lainey Wilson.

Concert tickets will be available March 14 online only to accommodate purchase volume. The following day, they will be available for phone sales or in-person at the ticket office.

Prices for concert tickets will range from $72 to $107, rooftop starts at $200, and Tunes on the Terrace ranges from $225 to $275. Daily rodeo tickets range from $24 to $51; rooftop starts at $100. PBR tickets range from $25 to $105.

Scott Lewis, contract acts chairman for CFD, said he’s conscious of the importance of bringing a diverse set of artists to CFD to widen the audience going to concerts.

This year, the outliers from the country genre are Machine Gun Kelly on July 24, followed by T-Pain and Ludacris the next day.

“We’ll definitely attract a different crowd to come check out our western celebration and have some fun,” he said.

But he also brings back classic acts that have historically been popular in Cheyenne like Aldean, who will perform at the event for his sixth time — still shy of Charlie Daniels’ record 11 CFD performances.

“He does really well in Cheyenne. Whatever it is, people in this region just love him,” Lewis said, “So, for us, we have no qualms about bringing him back.”
