Wyatt Fern Kennedy

Posted

Wyatt Fern Kennedy, loving son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away suddenly at home on Sept. 23. He was born in Ogden, Utah, on Oct. 17, 1983, to Ervie D. Kennedy and Shirley Jeppesen. He was the oldest of four children.

Wyatt grew up in Randolph, Utah, where he spent many memorable hours with his grandpa at the pump house, or walking over the hill to visit. He developed an interest in business accounting and graduated from Utah State University with a BSA.

Wyatt was a multitalented young man. As a child he helped his father work on the vehicles and developed his skill in auto mechanics. There was very little he could not repair.

He worked with his father in the oilfield as a journeyman pipefitter, and later at ATK as a security guard, and then his favorite job, a lab technician.

Wyatt had an infectious smile paired with a positive attitude. He was dependable and would drop everything to go help someone in need. One of his favorite pass times was traveling to Randolph, Utah, with his family to spend time fishing and taking his nieces and nephews on those jeep rides that everyone still talks about. Wyatt had a very loving, close relationship with all his family.

Wyatt is preceded in death by his father, Ervie D.; and sister, Eileen Brianna.

He is survived by his mother, Shirley; his sister, Heather (Codie); and his brother, David; along with nieces, nephews and extended family.

The family would like to extend their appreciation and thanks the Brigham City Police Department and Emergency Response Team.

The viewings and funeral services will take place at the Randolph Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A viewing will be held Thursday, Sept. 28, from 6-8 p.m., and Friday, Sept. 29, from 9-10:45 a.m. Funeral services will commence Friday, Sept. 29, at 11:30 a.m.

Interment will take place at the Randolph, Utah, cemetery.
