Wallace Fredrick Julian passed away on June 29. He was born Dec. 21, 1938, in Sage to Fredrick H. and Ethel Parslow Julian.

He attended school in Cokeville, graduating May 17, 1957. Later that same day he started working for Union Pacific Railroad, where he retired Sept. 1, 2010. He took a four-year break to serve in the Navy from Jan. 24, 1960, until Jan. 24, 1964.

Wallace is survived by his oldest sister, Beverly Gamble of Greybull; his children Eric, Chris, Mark, Mistee, Becki and Erin; his grandchildren, Roxanna, CJ, Jessica, Joshua, Mishelle, Gwen, Elizabeth and Maddie; and also several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Ellen Vicky Noland; two brothers-in-law, Vern Noland and Keith Gamble; and one son, SSG David Julian.

He was very proud of being born and raised in Wyoming and loved everything about it. No matter where he lived, either in the service or otherwise, Wyoming was always home.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place, and a graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 8, at the Evanston City Cemetery.
