Vicky L. Brown, 57 years old, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Jan. 31, in Evanston. Vicky was born in Fruita, Colorado, to Betty Fitzgerald.

Vicky was a woman who could be described as strong-willed and determined. She enjoyed crafting unique crochet gifts for all of her family. She was a very loving person and she was kind to all — from taking in stray cats to helping bringing life back to nature.

She also enjoyed gardening and taking care of her yard. Most of all, Vicky enjoyed spending time with her family and cherished every moment with them.

Vicky is survived by her mother, Betty Fitzgerald; her brothers, David (Michelle) Fitzgerald and James Fitzgerald; and her five children, Michael (Christina) Fitzgerald, Richard (Ashley) Fitzgerald, Christina (Tyson) Schiffman, Jeffrey Fitzgerald and William Brown. She was also an adored grandmother to 16 grandchildren.

Vicky was preceded in death by her stepfather, David Fitzgerald; and her daughter, K.C Fitzgerald.

Vicky will be missed by so many people, yet never forgotten.

Her memorial will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 7, at the LDS church, 632 Twin Ridge Ave. in Evanston. It will start at 1 p.m., and will be followed by lunch provided by the Relief Society.
