Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.

The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office responded to 133 incidents between the dates of Monday, Sept. 25, and Sunday, Oct. 1. Incidents included an abandoned vehicle, four alarms, two ambulance or medical assists, seven animal problems, nine agency assists, four citizen disputes, nine citizen assists, controlled substance use, a civil process service, marijuana possession, controlled substance possession, two domestic violence incidents, three drug tests, a DUI, driving under suspension, an escort, a family fight, two fires, 12 information reports, a jail offense, a juvenile problem, three keep the peace incidents, lost or found property, and four livestock problems.

Deputies also responded to a report of a minor in possession, a missing person, a motorcycle/recreational vehicle problem, a protection order violation, two prisoner transports, probation/parole violation, two public service programs, five rancher contacts, reckless endangering, four traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic accident with personal injury, three traffic complaints, two traffic hazards, identity theft, two traffic offenses, three property thefts, two trespassing incidents, unsecure premises, eight wanted persons, and two welfare checks. 

The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office arrested 10 persons between the dates of Sept. 25 and Oct. 1.

Danielle N. Blakeman, of Evanston, was arrested on a warrant for failing to pay.

Trevor S. Boyd, of Lyman, was arrested on a warrant for failing to pay, felony probation revocation, and a U.S. Marshall hold.

Chad Buchanan, of Afton, was arrested for 2nd or 3rd offense driving under the influence.

Michael J. Degraw, of Lyman, was arrested for failing to comply, failing to appear and failing to pay.

Joshua J. Doan, of Mountain View, was arrested for violating a protection order, misdemeanor probation violation and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Caleb G. Erickson, of Fort Bridger, was arrested for interfering with a police officer, failing to maintain insurance, driving without a license, and an arrest and hold. 

Teya L. Janway, of Robertson, was arrested for failing to appear.

Michael G. Musser, of Green River, was arrested for theft.

Jonathan A. Olivares, of Evanston, was arrested for domestic battery and possessing a controlled substance. 

Forrest T. Smith, of Evanston, was arrested for theft, possessing stolen property and criminal trespass.
