Uinta County Sheriff’s Office incidents
May 15-21, 2017
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office responded to 94 incidents between the dates of Monday, May 15, and Sunday, May 21. Incidents included an abandoned vehicle, an alarm, three ambulance or medical assists, nine animal problems, seven agency assists, burglary (nonresidential – County Road 157), five citizen disputes, three citizen assists, two citizen investigative contacts, four civil problems, a civil process service, controlled substance use, a drug test, driving under suspension, four escorts, a fire, family education, fraud, four information reports, a jail offense, three juvenile problems, keeping the peace, lost or found property, six livestock problems, a minor in possession of alcohol, a noise problem, two rancher contacts, a sex offense, two incidents of suspicion, three traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic complaint, three thefts, trespassing, a wanted person and four welfare checks.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office arrested six persons between the dates of May 15 and May 21.
Becky L. Aimone, of Fort Bridger, was arrested for property destruction.
Robert L. Hoover, of Evanston, was arrested for two counts of violating a protection order.
Jason R. Johnson, of Lyman, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance.
Justin E. Kiddy, of Mountain View, was arrested for fraud via a check for nonsufficient funds.
Shaun P. Rouse, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under suspension.
Federico F. Torres, of Evanston, was arrested for domestic battery.
